Report on Constitution Day Celebration and Awareness Program

On the Eve of Constitution Day, 26th November 2021, St.Thomas’ College of Law organized an awareness and outreach Program at Aangan wadi, Tughalpur. The Students of St. Thomas’ College created awareness amongst the parents and Aangan Wani Workers through discussions pertaining to the rights of Children and Pregnant women.

Abel, Saurabh, Gaurav, Saumya gave short speeches on matters relating to rights of pregnant women and prevention of domestic violence with them. Juices and biscuits were distributed amongst the kids and they were involved in short games.

It was attended by both the Law and Education department of St. Thomas College. The attended were informed that STCL provides free legal aid services and our contact details were shared with the officials of Angan Wadi and other parents present.

Ms. Simmi pal, Mr. Adnan Irshad, Mr. Dhananjay Kumar Mishra, Dr. Niti Sinha, Mr., Faheem Khan, Dr. Mughda Anand and Dr. Poonam Pandey interacted with the kids. The program concluded with group Photo of the faculty members and Aangan Wadi staff.
