Report on Legal Awareness Program organized on 30 November 2021

The Legal Aid Clinic of St.Thomas’ College of Law organized legal awareness program at village Sirsa, Greater Noida, UP on Tuesday, 30th November 2021. The students endeavored to create awareness by disseminating information regarding various laws, which influence our day to day life, like Consumer Protection Act, Road safety laws, Medico legal cases , etc and the redressal Mechanism in case of their violation . Students utilized innovative methods to catch the attention of the attendees like they performed ‘skits’ in a very lively and jovial manner, of course entwined with a subtle message.

The Outreach Program was mentored by Prof. (Dr.) K.S. Bhati, Advisor STCL and was attended by Ms. Simmi Pal, Mr. Adnan Irshad, Mr. Dhananjay Kumar Mishra, Dr.Niti Sinha, Mr. Faheem Khan and other faculty members.

Nitish, Saurabh, Asif, Gaurav, Ravi, Sameer, Sujit, Geeta, Saumya, Abel, Zubiya along with all other students participated in the presentation of the Program. The Program was well attended and encouraged by the inhabitants of the village who attended the awareness program with enthusiasm and even came forward with queries. The program was concluded by Prof. (Dr.) K.S. Bhati with his illuminating and thought provoking remarks. Wherein he also stated the importance of free legal aid to the needful and also highlighted the endeavor of St. Thomas’ College of law in providing quality Legal education with a very modest fee structure. The program culminated with high hopes and zeal.
